This public area is open bank to bank, the entire width of the river. This location is in Douglas County proper and is about a quarter-mile of river. There is no easy access to this site.

This public access is a gravel shoulder pull off located on Shively Creek Road. The pull off is located 20 feet above the water with a steep bank that drops straight off, making access almost impossible except for one steep trail located at the north-end of the pull off. All of the surrounding land is private. Please respect their property. The land at the south-end of the pull off is private property and touches the river right at the bend for twenty feet in each direction.
